Rocky Mountain National Park Fishing

Rocky Mountain National Park Fly Fishing:

I had great weather and excellent clients yesterday. The fly fishing in the Park however was just so so. We are probably about 2 weeks away from it being real consistent. We are also about 2 weeks away from high flows. Glacier Creek produced the largest fish of the day. A double nymph rig with a 9ft leader, split shot and a small indicator was the ticket for us.

Guide Recommended Flies: Dries: Nada. Nymphs: #18 Pink San Juan Worm, #18 Boy Blue and #18 J’s BWO Emerger.
