Flies of the Week for 09/25/17. Our Colorado Fly Fishing Guides report that I was correct. This was the weekend of the BWO’s. I personally guided the Cache La Poudre on Saturday and Sunday. My clients braved the elements and were rewarded with multiple rising trout. The next couple of weeks might all be repeats for “Flies of the Week” but so be it. Our Flies of the week are all dries #18 BWO Cripple and a #18 PEC.
Beginner Colorado Fly Fishing Lesson/Class
What a great time of year to take our Beginner Colorado Fly Fishing Lesson. Our Colorado Fly Fishing Lessons are taught by the most experienced fly-fishing guides on the Front Range of Northern Colorado. All of our Colorado Fly Fishing Guides are certified teachers. This fly fishing lesson is designed to cut 5 years off the learning curve. Better yet using special use permits we have access to the best trout water on the Northern Front Range. So that allows us to conduct this Fly Fishing Class on the water were the trout are actually at. By being on the water the students in this class will learn to cast a fly rod they will learn the nuances of how to fish with a fly rod. Cost of this Beginner Colorado Fly Fishing Lesson is $115.00 lunch is included. Rental gear is available. All students will need a Colorado Fishing License.
