Big Thompson Fly Fishing Report:
Yuck and more Yuck….the river is a flipping mess. Worked it yesterday with a wonderful client from Denver. We did manage to catch a few fish with a nymph rig. Water is running brownish to crapish. Actually had a truck bumper float by us. I would recommend skipping the Thompson for right now and heading in to the RMNP.
Guide Recommended Flies(if you must fish it) Dries: #14 EC Caddis. Nymphs: #18 Pink San Juan Worm and #18 Blue
